Ian Lessem

This, coupled with over a decade of pan-African investment banking experience across a myriad of infrastructure and real estate projects, corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns, makes him perfectly placed to invest and advise early stage high growth businesses.
Ian has a special talent for raising capital and is an expert at strategically aligning businesses for growth, investment and exit.
As Managing Partner at HAVAIC, a leading early stage African technology investor, Ian sits on the boards of several portfolio companies including AURA, RecoMed and hearX (observer).
Gus Badran
Investment manager (with 15 years’ combined experience in operations, product and business development within fast growing Cleantech and Technology) focusing on Cleantech, Industrial, Meditech and Technology companies who are seeking to raise venture and growth capital.
Graduated from Imperial College London in Material Science & Engineering and also received a post graduate diploma in Manufacturing: Management & Technology and Control Systems from the Open University and the University of Sheffield respectively.
