Tidal energy is based on the water displacement due to the Moon orbit around the earth. Hence, its far more predicable renewable energy sources than most as we can calculate the Moon orbit to the minute.

Chris Milne
Chris joined Orbital as CFO in October 2016 where he leads on all things finance, reporting, funding and other corporate functions. Chris also sits as a Board Director for Scottish Renewables, the industry trade body for renewable energy.
He was previously Vice President of an energy focused private equity fund after holding a number of senior finance leadership positions at UK utility, SSE plc. This included sitting as a Director on the Board of its Generation business as Head of Finance for all generation, gas storage and exploration and production activities, as well as various other non-executive director roles. Prior to joining SSE, Chris was a manager in KPMG’s Private Equity M&A team in London, where he was based for 8 years.
Chris graduated from the University of Dundee in 2001 with a first-class honours degree in Business Economics and Marketing with Psychology, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in Investment ManagementGuy is a co-founder of Caldera. He has a BSc(Hons) Engineering degree from Exeter University and he has 30' years of operational, project and engineering experience. His career has encompassed R&D, manufacturing processes and operations management, including international experience in UK, Germany and Asia.
He has previous experience in energy storage at Isentropic Ltd as Head of Engineering and Operations, manufacturing and business development at Linde AG Forklift and T&N (Federal Mogul).
Gus Badran
Investment manager (with 15 years’ combined experience in operations, product and business development within Cleantech and Technology) focusing on Cleantech, Industrial, Meditech and Technology companies who are seeking to raise venture and growth capital.
Chairman and founder of the Innovation Investing Special Interest Group (IISIG) within the Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA) UK Society.
Graduated from Imperial College London in Material Science & Engineering and also received a post graduate diploma in Manufacturing: Management & Technology and Control Systems from the Open University and the University of Sheffield respectively.
