Aims of the judging panel: Review and grade submitted journalistic content.

The CFA UK Journalism Awards highlights contribution for the advancement of investor education through journalism. Launched in 2012, the awards celebrate articles that highlight ethical and professional standards in the UK investment sector and are open to all journalists. These awards aim to celebrate and promote great journalism that mirror CFA UK’s mission and vision.

Purpose and activities:

• Familiarise with the scoring and grading criteria
• Judge and grade submitted articles and media in independent and transparent way
• Attend a pre-judging orientation session via zoom
• Attend a post judging benchmarking review session via zoom

Who are we looking for?

• Volunteers who regularly read and follow investment news
• Volunteers who have extensive experience and interest in high-quality journalism
• Good communicators with the ability to work in a group and share ideas
• Ability to make time available and meet deadlines

CFA UK will distribute grading criteria, anonymised content and arrange a post judging benchmarking session.
