    Hello Community,
Sharing a full GSIR report on sustainable investing. Good to see that sustainable investing moved from "niche practice" to "systemic consideration"!
    What do you think?

    Overview:

The report reveals that sustainable investing has matured into a systemic consideration across global markets, despite political and economic headwinds. Regulatory frameworks like the EU's SFDR and the UK's SDR are reshaping how sustainability is disclosed and measured, with Europe leading in fund-level transparency. However, the report also highlights a growing disconnect between disclosed data and actual investor practices especially in large institutional mandates and private markets underscoring the need for more comprehensive and harmonised reporting.

Notably, the report finds that fund assets reporting responsible or sustainable investment approaches have grown to USD 16.7 trillion, a 49% increase over two years. Yet, the lack of consistent global definitions and the exclusion of significant asset pools from disclosure frameworks mean that the true scale of sustainable investing is likely underreported. The GSIA calls for stronger policy alignment, better valuation methods that reflect climate risks, and a renewed focus on investor stewardship to accelerate the transition to a net-zero economy.
