    Hello Sustainability Community!

Thanks to Aya's suggestion, I'm sharing here a "Sustainability Practitioner Series" I started in the past year sharing how I aim to "walk the talk" in my daily live in being more sustainable (although the journey has started many more years ago) and always give a few statistics around the topic (every time I'm still shocked given it's always much worse from my previous knowledge).  Here's a selection of a few. Happy to hear your thoughts through here or comment directly on the post.

Hi Anne, thanks so much. I really like this!

We have a cocker spaniel at home - so a lot of our socks have holes in them :-). Current state of e-waste is super interesting! Thanks

Thank you Anne for sharing these steps that we can all take in order to make sustainable choices.

Like you, I have been driving special occasions as times to have a wish list that includes 1 secondhand item and 1 experience. It’s not easy and seldom goes to plan.
Let’s keep the conversation going in solidarity for each other and as collective motivation to change the status quo. Exactly This is how systemic change happens.

If helpful, my town has a FB page that invites local businesses (think photographers, artists) to advertise ahead of Christmas.

Thanks for sharing, Anita. Aya left a comment on LinkedIn saying her town as initiatives in organizing repairing workshops. It's also great that your town promotes local small businesses for Xmas also!

Yes I believe consumers are able to voice it through their purchase decisions. Example if no one is buying bottled water out of convenience (because it is 1000 times more energy intensive than drinking from filtered tap water) companies won't be selling that anymore.
