Purpose

Throughout their career, CFA UK members will need to upskill and reskill. CFA UK provides ongoing, lifelong professional learning to meet this need. Practice orientated and career relevant, professional learning:

  • Builds on existing knowledge and skills, encouraging application of learning
  • Is self-guided or curated via professional learning plans
  • Can encompass a programme of webinars / podcasts / events / conferences / online learning plans

CFA UK is now looking to recruit members to the Professional Learning Panel whose remit is to support staffed office in setting the strategic framework for CFA UK Professional Learning.  Specifically, the Professional Learning Panel will be responsible for:

Overseeing the delivery and use of professional learning
Understanding membership needs related to professional learning and providing guidance on CFA UK’s professional learning offer
Reviewing data relating to the use of professional learning plans and other professional learning content and advise of any courses of appropriate action
Overseeing Professional Learning Plan Working Groups as and when convened
Reviewing and agree topic and high-level outlines for proposed Professional Learning Plans, developed by Professional Learning Working Groups relating to:

Certificate in Climate and Investing

Investment Management Certificate

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (supported by the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee)

Ethics (supported by the Ethics Committee)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for members who are passionate about professional learning and have experience of:

  • Professional learning offered in-house via employing firms / other professional bodies
  • Developing professional learning content

Applications are welcome from all members regardless of years of industry experience.
