Scottish Committee Outreach Project working group - members

CFA UK Scottish Committee believes that the investment industry in Scotland should be more connected to share their voice, views and learning. They want to play a more active part in bringing together more firms and industry professionals to create a stronger investment community in the region. Be part of a project, which would utilise your love of networking, and ultimately start connecting CFA UK members, small and medium sized investment firms and other investment professionals with the Committee.

30% of investment professionals sit within 5 key firms in Scotland.  There are over 100 smaller firms who the Scottish Committee want to engage with.  This project will focus on 10 identified firms as a pilot.  The outcome of this project will determine whether engagement in this way is the correct approach.

Purpose and activities:

• To research and use social tools like LinkedIn to make connections with CFA UK members and investment professionals in 10 key firms in Scotland from the following list:

• To start conversations with firms and individuals to connect them into the Scottish Committee and CFA UK
• Build relationships with Scottish Committee members and Scotland Ambassadors to leverage their connections
