Some thoughts on #ai
When steam engine was invented, it changed the system. Suddenly, it was possible to transfer goods/services and people over big distances much quicker. So lots of efficiency. Lots of free time for people to do other things.
Every time the task gets done and the bottleneck disappears, because another tool is doing it, that gives me more time. I fill that time with more tasks becuase human demand is limitless. When one constraint is removed, we find 2 or 3 more.
Looking for studies, if anyone knows, on how Ai impacts our time and "to do lists". A bit of a paradox. We got more free time, but that is filled with even more tasks.
As a result number of emails grows, chat time grows, overtime working hours rises. The capacity expands and we fill it. Will we ever get to the end of our "to do lists" then?
