    I've heard from many community members that it would be great to organise an event (online mostly) about AI & Sustainability. Here's a call to community - share your thoughts on what angles for that event would be most beneficial for you and what kind of speakers/companies you'd like to hear from?

    Some ideas can include these - but I'am keen to hear from you if you have other angles?

      Ai in ptimising renewbale enrgy systems (wind forecasting, grid balancing).
      Industiral applications: energy efficiency, carbon capture optimisation.
      How AI supports corproate tranistion planning and enhances disclosure accuracy (SDR).
      Investment opportunities in AI powered climate tech and cleantech venture.

    • Sustainable Data Cetners and AI?
      Ai's growth is driving an unprecendented expantion in data centre demand. Sustainable investors have a critical role in shaping whether this infrastructure ecomes a climate liability or a climate solution.  Data centre sustainablity as an investment thesis (not a technical footnote).

      Data cetnres already consume more power than some countries. AI workloads are exponentially increasing that demand. Reulators are tightening efficiency and transparency requirements. massive capital flows are moving into digital infrastcruture (from private equity, infra funds and soveriengs).

      Locations with clean, reliable power gaining stratgic advantage
      Heat recovery systems that feed district heating
      Water efficient cooling systems (air, immersion, seawater)
      AI driven optimisation: cooling, server utilisation, grid interaction
      Investor considerations:
    •  AI & sustainable data:
      Using AI to synthesise fragmented sustainability data (satellite, sensor, text, regulatory)
      Evaluating climate impact in private markets where disclosures are scarce
      AI For scenario modelling: stress testing portfolios
      What investors need to know about data governance and model transparency when using AI

    Hi Aya, I believe AI can help accelerate solutions that will enable a transition to both net zero and nature positive, so I think it's a great subject.  

    Personally I've been working on the financial materiality of nature loss and how an AI enabled platform could translate biodiversity data into a risk analysis tool for commodity dependent investors and manufactures.  

    So I'd be really interested in how venture or private equity investors are thinking about opportunities in this area, and it would be great to compare notes with others.  Richard
