    Good morning community!

Here's the video of our webinar "Backtesting with Correlation" (Natwest) for those who missed it on the day:
    Video 32 min, 0.5 CPD

Backtesting can be extremely useful for investors – but it's extremely complex. Dr. Nikolai Nowaczyk, Risk Management and AI Consultant, NatWest Group uses his background as a mathematician to help you confront the challenges of false correlations to produce more accurate statistical evaluations that suit your needs. Understand:

    • Why statistical evaluations are so complex to produce in the investment industry
    • What auto-correlation and cross-correlation are, and how these issues emerge
    • Key strategies to ensure the correlations in your backtesting data are genuine
    • Why one of the best ways to test for correlation is to test for decorrelation
    • How to choose the right backtesting strategy for what you do in your role

Our breakout group's discussion was highly engaging, with everyone contributing. The diversity of backgrounds and experiences made it especially fascinating.

Common themes of feedback on what folks are looking for from our group included sharing lessons learned, exchanging ideas, and market intelligence. Today I hope was a taster of the great things to come".
