    Hello Community!

Yesterday I had a great evening meeting some of you in Kings Store pub in London, in-person!

The room was buzzing with fantastic energy and conversations, the drinks were nice and cold and the food - vegetarian and vegan :-)

There were many new people that I have met who haven't joined the online platform yet - so look out for new members joining hopefully soon!

Share here if you enjoyed this meetup and what interesting conversations you had.

I hope to see you at the next in-person event, which focuses on climate smart food, is in person and also offers an interesting dinner option :-)

Today I have joined a fascinating prep chat with our community champion Elaine Xu (Quilter) and our guest speaker David Russel for online meetup on March 21st. What a great fortune for us to greet @David Russell at the community and the meetup on 21st!

David has decades of practical experience leading responsible investments in the UK's largest pension fund (USS), building and growing the team, developing strategies and leading the company towards its sustainability goals. The prep chat was filled with so much knowledge and experience, I can only imaging what the actual meetup is going to be like.

After a chat with David, you will network with others in breakout rooms, as usual.

    Dear Community!
hope you are enjoying the summer. Appealing to the power of people here.

We are planning to run an in-person event (50 attendees maximum) for a community with an invited guest (Author). The event will include a fire-side chat with the Author and then 1 hour of networking drinks. Here's the brief description:

"Energy is the biggest contributor to emissions and most energy is wasted; about 75% is lost in extraction conversion and transportation. When we look at the reasons behind geopolitical conflicts, such as in Ukraine and Taiwan, we understand that we are competing for resources. Meanwhile we are wasting most of them.  Climate, energy, and geopolitics are intrinsically linked.  This session will tackle:

    •     How to translate these into investment themes and business strategies
    •    What it means for energy commodities and capital markets#
    •       What you can do about it"

Would your organisation consider hosting us and letting us use your venue/conference room? We will emphasize this and shout out about our collaboration on social media to boost your organisations' marketing.

If you have other ideas on where we could seek hosted venue, I will look forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you very much.
