Hello Community!
Here's the mantra that I offer us for today: We prioritize investments that offer long-term benefits over short-term gains. Sustainable growth will come from our patience and a focus on enduring value.
Wanted to share with you the outcomes of CFA UK Sustainability Conference in May. Read more here
Key terms that were discussed include: Adaptation, Circularity, Decarbonisation, Engagement and Education.
There was a lot to learn from all speakers and hosts and moderators and participants. My most memorable learnings were from the workshop conducted by Morten Rosse, Head of Nature and Climate, Lombard Odier. Morten shared step by step guide on how they created a nature-based solution for coffee and how it is driving premium earnings in this leading commodity. Coffee grown in forests brought beautiful visions! Morten also shared how they work with local farmers, helping their products to reach global markets and how they work directly with others in the supply chain (hotels, cafes) etc internationally.
Many of you joined us there, do share your insights and takeaways here!

Hello Community,
We had a really great online networking meetup last week where we heard from our guest member and speaker Chloe Chan, associate banker and climate investor from EBRD. Sharing here the post event notes.
Thank you to @Jacopo Gadani for great hosting and @Denise Gomes de Santana and @Katy Husband for moderating breakout rooms.
Attached is also a presentation from my colleague @Praneet Shivaprasad our new Outreach Director on "what's new" in CFA UK's qualification and certificates world. If you are interested, write to Praneet to outreach@cfauk.org
I thank everyone who joined us online in January and look forward to seeing you in February. Check out all February events here

Hi everyone,
I am starting a new thread where i will share the takeaways from our monthly online meetups - as not everyone is able to join them every month.
This time I am sharing key takeaways from our September meetup with Vishal Hindocha from MFS Asset Management.
Please feel free to share in this thread if you have interesting insights or experiences on ownership mindset, short termism, exit versus voice and transition to stakehodler issues.
Look forward to seeing you in our meetups!
