Hello community! I am Milda Pladaite, a civil engineer and Editorial Board Member at  ICE Civil Engineering Journal. Water crisis is emerging bringing significant opportunities for impact investors. Building on my experience at the flooding adaptation project for Maldives, and leading a capacity building project for the UNFCCC, I am now working on the impact investment project for the United Nations. I invite CFA UK members to contribute by:

1. Sharing Successful Investment Cases for the Institution of Civil Engineers Flagship Journal's article: Showcase investments made by your organization in water scarcity and infrastructure adaptation that yielded high financial returns and societal and environmental benefits. 

2. Contributing to the UN Technology Facilitation Mechanism Project: This project supports impact investors targeting high financial returns from water scarcity and adaptation investments which benefit directly or indirectly developing countries, particularly Small Island Developing States (SIDS), in line with the SDGs.

Why Participate?

If you have successfully invested in this space, showcasing your company's success and expertise will position you as leaders in this type of investing as well as encourage many others to follow suit. Article reaches a targeted audience of more than 100,000 members and will help others understand more on "how" to do these investments.
