    Welcome to new members!

We're welcoming new members to our community! Check out the brief introductions below and say hello!

Meet Yiota Michou, CFA – Investment Manager at Climate Asset Management

We're excited to introduce Yiota Michou to our sustainable investing community! Yiota brings a wealth of experience in natural capital investing and a passion for driving impact with commercial returns.

At Climate Asset Management (CAM) – a joint venture between HSBC Asset Management and Pollination – Yiota plays a key role in managing two core strategies:

Natural Capital Strategy: Investing in sustainable forestry, regenerative agriculture, and environmental assets across developed markets (NA, UK, Europe, Australia, NZ). This strategy generates both commercial outputs (timber, crops) and income from ecosystem services.

Carbon Strategy: Developing nature-based carbon projects in emerging markets, delivering carbon credits to investors for their net zero goals.

With a background in M&A at Rothschild and asset ownership at Welcome Trust, Yiota combines finance expertise with a deep commitment to sustainability. After completing postgraduate studies in climate change management, she joined CAM to help create a dedicated natural capital platform.

CAM recently closed three funds worth $1 billion and is now focused on capital deployment. Yiota is particularly involved in sustainable forestry and carbon projects and is keen to share lessons learned with our community.

If you're interested in natural capital investments, carbon strategies, or real-world impact case studies, connect with Yiota-she's happy to share insights and collaborate on advancing the natural capital space.

Meet Timothee Consigny – CTO at H2O Asset Management

We're excited to introduce Timothee Consigny to our community! As Chief Technology Officer at H2O Asset Management, Timothee is leading the charge in applying Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance productivity and decision-making in asset management.

H2O Asset Management, a global macro fund founded 15 years ago, has always prioritized in-house technology development. Over the past 18 months, Timothee's team has been actively integrating GenAI into their workflows, unlocking new efficiencies and insights.

    Timothee's AI Philosophy:

At H2O, AI is used to enhance people, not replace them. Their internal AI governance ensures that humans remain in control, using AI as a tool to boost productivity and decision-making, rather than client-facing automation.

If you're curious about real-world AI applications in asset management or want to learn more about GenAI-driven productivity, meet Timothee during community networking meetup on April 30th, save your seat there now!
