    Dear community,

When I talk to members, especially to those who are switching their careers or are at the beginning of their careers, they often talk about valuable skills or pathways. Please can I ask those members who have successfully transitioned or built up their careers in London to share their insights here?

    It will be invaluable!

here are some of the themes/questions:

    1. Which employment agencies in London can you recommend for those who would like to transition towards ESG/Sustainability jobs in the space (from trading background for example or from data companies or others?)
    2. What pathways would be most desirable and realistic for these members to consider?
    3. What skills and qualifications will aid them?

Of course CFA UK's qualifications and certificates are there for everyone! Check them out!

Hope to hear from other members - this is a great way to help others and to impact the profession and society.

    Thank you.

    Hello Community!

What a great event last week in London on sustainable regulations. We could see and feel the power of the community, people connecting and learning from each other and coming up with new ideas on better practices.

Do check out the post above and share your insights on how to best advance in your career.

I wanted to share a list of recruitement agencies here for those transitioning or thinking about their next step. Important disclosure: I do not advocate for any of these, simply giving you some reference as to where to start from, in case you were looking for this or wondering.

Look forward to your comments here too.

P.S. Perhaps someone from CFA UK can post here and share recent "learning plans"? I know there were several released recently and they could be great pathways for some members to check out.

Aya, thanks for this. Really helpful. There are an increasing number of specialist search firms in the sustainability field as well. I know the team at Acre pretty well, but it would be great to hear from other community members which other firms you'd recommend. Lewis Davey? Capital Chase? Or is it better to stick to the mainstream firms and to talk to their sustainability teams - Russell Reynolds, Korn Ferry etc?

Great overview! Thank you for sharing.

I would also mention PureFuel: https://www.pure-fuel.com/

PureFuel recruiters posts on LinkedIn a lot of sustainability-related vacancies both in companies and financial services firms.
