Hi All,
Just opening for discussion, but something that I have been following and noticing for a while. Clean energy stocks are clearly underperforming O&G for over 3 years, and seems the trend is only getting to the favour of fossil fuels. Hedge fund and main investors are keeping focusing on O&G firms, with reasons ranging from focusing on cash flow rich fossil fuel companies (especially in the last 2 years) to decreasing hopes that clean energy will become a mature or as developed sector as promised by many pledges and statements.
Do you believe this trend will reverse? If yes, (i) when; and (ii) why? So which factors will be key to such reverse?
