Jonno Elliott
Managing Director on the investment team at Virgin Management, Sir Richard Branson’s family office, where he looks after the venture capital and alternative investments strategies. Over the past decade he has helped build a portfolio of more than 40 early and growth stage investments in category-leading technology companies. These include Wise, Square, Slack, Doctor on Demand, Capsule, Blockchain, Pinterest, Ring and Codecademy, to name a few. He previously worked at Robeco-Sage Capital in New York, and Beacon Fund Advisors in Tortola.
Shie Haur
Executive Director of Zak Capital, a Southeast Asia family office with presence in the UK, where he drives the overall investment strategy. Zak Capital has the flexibility to allocate across a wide range of asset classes, with special interest in game-changing biotechnology companies in the UK. Over the years, Zak Capital has invested into companies such as Oxford Nanopore, Inivata and Nuclera.
Gus Badran
Investment banker (with 15 years’ combined experience in operations, product and business development within corporations) focusing on Cleantech, Industrial, Meditech and Technology companies who are seeking to raise venture and growth capital.
Chairman and founder of the Innovation Investing Special Interest Group (IISIG) within the Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA) UK Society.
Graduated from Imperial College London in Material Science & Engineering and also received a post graduate diploma in Manufacturing: Management & Technology and Control Systems from the Open University and the University of Sheffield respectively.
