This in-person event has been organised by the Alternative Data Working Group.

It was once said that the greatest danger of artificial intelligence is that people conclude too early that they understand it. Members are invited to join our swarm of cluelessness and, through experimentation, inch closer to a collective comprehension of the role large language models (LLMs) may play in the investment process.  

On arrival, participants will be formed into teams, these teams will then work collaboratively on a novel application of LLMs to the datasets provided, and finally present their findings to the wider group. Each team will be facilitated by a developer with relevant technical know-how so the only requirements for participating are curiosity, humility and a passion for investing. 

We cannot promise tangible results, but we do promise pizza, learning and fun along the way.
