    The last credit cycle has seen a huge expansion in riskier forms of credit. But just how risky are they?

    Legal expert Belle Yang, Senior Legal Analyst, CreditSights, will cover the evolution in bond issuance and changes in structuring over the last credit cycle and how they may effect chances of default and recoveries. Belle will highlight the key issues that debt investors need to be aware of as the cycle turns.

    Speakers

    Belle Yang, Senior Legal Analyst, CreditSights 

    Belle Yang joined CreditSights in London as a Senior Legal Analyst in July 2019. Belle has been a lawyer for over 20 years, starting her career in the capital markets team at Davis Polk in New York and Hong Kong in 1998.

    She then taught comparative law at the Institut du Droit Comparé, Panthéon- Assas Paris II University before joining the credit research team at BNP Paribas as a Special Situations Analyst in 2006. Since then Belle has been a Senior Legal Analyst at JPMorgan London in the Chief Investment Office and Haitong Securities London. Most recently she was a senior lawyer at a hedge fund specialising in European credit.

    Belle has a LL.B. (Hons) from the London School of Economics in political science and a LL.M. from New York University School of Law. Belle was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1999.
