✅📣🎯 Creation of the #UK #Growth Fund - establishing a #venturecapital fund-of-funds, known as the #UK Growth Fund, with the aim of raising £4.6 billion at launch, which could grow to at least £46 billion over five to ten years.
➡️ This fund would attract #institutional capital, including #pension funds, and serve as an #umbrella for a portfolio of #sector-specific funds.
➡️ These sector-specific funds would target #market failures in areas vital to the #UK's future prosperity and #incentivize #privateequity #investors to invest.
 
✅📣🎯 #UK #Community #Growth Fund - build upon initiatives supporting small businesses, #social enterprises, and #charities. It would target £100 million of #commercial #bank and #social #investment at launch, with the potential to grow.
 
✅📣🎯 Coordinated Oversight: #Funds would be managed by #UK #government #finance #institutions and overseen by a new #government unit specializing in #blendedfinance.
 
✅📣🎯 #Market Failures and #Funding Gaps: Sector-specific funds would address specific market needs such as #EV charging #infrastructure, #SME housebuilders, #carbon #capture, early years education, and more. They would provide essential #capital for young, fast-growing #companies in the #UK.
 
✅📣🎯 Collaboration and #Exit Strategies: These funds would be designed through #collaboration between the #government, #investors, and potential #investee companies.
➡️ Encourage investee companies to either go public on a #UK stock exchange or be sold to UK trade buyers.
 
✅📣🎯 Replicating Successful Models: drawing from Green Finance Institute's #Battery Investment Facility, a #cooperative approach to designing solutions and building investor #confidence.

✅📣🎯 Six private sector investment "enablers" including:
